Last week I pulled the trigger and ordered a 6 inch BDS lift kit and some American Truxx 26x14 DNA wheels with a set Fury MT tires in 35's. Everything was installed over the weekend and I'm extremely pleased with how it all turned out...my only gripe is the steering seems a bit loose compared to what it was. Other than that its a blast to drive!

Wow! Any rubbing with that wheel setup?

Yea, theres no way in hell that thing will steer like it did before given your tire/wheel setup.

Yeah I get some minor rubbing right before I get to full lock but it took some major trimming to get there.

Would a steering stabilizer help firm up the steering a bit?

Possibly.

If you still have the stock wheels/tires, maybe toss those on and see how it drives. If it still feels wrong, it may be more of an alignment thing. But, regardless, with those wide wheels I would expect some negative steering feedback.

Any close up shots of what needed trimed?

Awesome looking setup, I haven't decided which setup to go with on my 17 Tahoe.

Thanks, I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow but to fit that combo the amount of trimming/cutting involved definitely isn't for the squeemish or faint of heart...it was a ton

I wanted that setup so badly when I first got my Yukon. I originally wanted to go with 26x14 KG1's or JTX's, but because my Yukon was so new, there wasn't a lot of lift kits out there just yet, and KG's and JTX's 22' designs were having international shipping issues because globally, we were still recovering from the pandemic... As for the wheels, I settled for my 3rd choice, the 24x14 2-piece 4Play wheels and the Ready Lift 3 inch kit.

Take a look at TIE ROD SLEEVES!
I've got them installed and was able to notice a difference immediately. The power on the steer came back with these.
They will work with your BDS 6" lift because that kit uses tie rod extended ends added to the oe tie rod. This sleeve goes over the OE tie rod and is easily done at home if you so choose.
