500 miles on 3/5 drop.....popping noise coming from drivers side front?

trying to figure out what this popping noise coming from the front is. It just started today, happens when I hit some not all bumps and when I turn occasionally. Just installed a 3/5 Mcgaughys 500 miles ago as well. Not sure if its related or not but wanted to mention that. Any ideas?

sounds like it could be a ball joint, make sure everything is tight under there tho...

I think you might have the answer right there...it does sound like a popping I guess. I think it's a "clunk" but...
