I don't think so..in fact I ended up trimming one of the corners at the bottom of the inner fender that rubbed.

i have 305/45r22 on nonOEM rims (22x9.5 +25mm) & lowered 2",
slight rub on full lock. a heat gun fixed that


i'd think on stock rim (~22x8-9 +24mm) that it may rub a bit



what did you wind up going with?

I am running the Nitto TG 305/45-22 tires on 22x10.0 wheels with a 0 offset, they push outside the fenders just a bit, but I think the aggressive look gives the truck a better stance. Mine is leveled and the only time it rubs is when I am going to back up and start to turn...not sure what it is catching, it is somewhere on the fender liner, but it is not making any cosmetic marks for me to see where to correct it, but I think without the level kit, and depending on what tire brand you do, I would not be afraid to do it, I can go lock to lock going forward and there is no rubbing issues, but mine is leveled. Without the level and if you are running the stock 22's, I would suggest just sticking with the 285's...the offset on the factory wheels is somewhat inboard, so even if you went with a less aggressive tread 305, it may rub on the inside suspension when you go lock to lock.
I also did a 4x4 Tahoe for a buddy and did a 22x9.5 wheel with a +20 4x4 with a 305 Toyo, he said his on lock to lock would sometimes rub slightly. We later sold the wheel set to another buddy with a 2wd same body style tahoe and it rubbed considerably more on the inside.

Hey Willard,

I have a 2015 tahoe ltz with magnaride as I assume your Yukon has also. What level kit did you use and did you have to lift the rear as well? I am looking to accomplish the same size tires. And I also had great luck with dynapro tires on my previous tahoes. Thanks in advance

It was only in the front and nothing in the back. The dealership took care of it all so don’t know which brand.
