Hi guys, I know this has been covered prior but I cant seem to get any results when I do a search. Hopefully you'll be nice and answer but if not I wont ask again.

Question, what size leveling kit will I need to clear a LT275/65-20 tire (Open Country A/T) on a 2011 Yukon with OEM 20" Wheels?

Long story short, I also have a Tundra Limited with 20" wheels. Tire size was the same for both. The Yukon needed tires and I wanted slightly larger and more aggressive tires for the Tundra so I put the Tundra tires onto the Yukon and upgraded the Tundra. I willl be selling the Tundra soon and moving back into the Yukon so want to put the more aggressive tires that have less than 5k miles onto the Yukon. I realize this size will likely not clear without a front level (or will they). Just not sure how high I need to raise the front in order to clear.

Any insight would be awesome!

Thanks everyone, very much appreciated!

275/65/20 is 34.07 inches in diameter. IMO that will not fit without a ~4" lift.

FYI I run 285/65/18, which is 32.59 inches, with a level kit and still had to trim ~2 inches from the bottom from valence (Z71 Tahoe).

SW CT,
What he said!

I ran 305/55/20's with a 2.5" front level and had to trim plus massage metal.

Best bet is to sell them on a forum, etc. and buy a set that fits better.

Thanks guys, not as easy as I thought. I think a 4" lift will be a little much. Sounds like I should still pull and sell however. I guess the Tundra really did have much more space to spare under the front.

Cheers!

SW CT,
Tundra's have alot of room, most other makes have more room than GM due to the shape of the wheelwells. GM has squared off openings instead of round.
