hello, im looking for new tires on my stock rims. i mud/train tires with thick treads and that muddin look. altouhg i might not be offroading all the time, does the tread last as long? any one got tire style/brand suggestions?

Take a look at the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor. It's a quiet, smooth riding tire, especially for an A/T tire. It's all I run on my Suburban.

I'd second the recommendation of Goodyear Silent Armors. Great all around tire for street, moderate off roading, and snow.

Why stay with the stock rims?
You should buy new, more better looking rims at the same time. And bigger!

i have nitto terra grapplers 285/70/17 and they arent loud at all. If youre getting new tires i suggest going bigger with a 285/75/16, that would look good

Nokian WR G2's I've had them for 2 years and love them. Great in the snow, good for general off road. they don't look real tough but they work great. The supplier said I should get 50k out of them and that they are a better tire than Michelin.

Ive just got whatever was slapped on at discount tire co. Works great but i used to have good year at and they were old and weather cracked and still worked good til one took a crap on a 6-8 hour trip
