Hello all, selling my 24's +30 and just picked up some 22s w +13 with a 285/45/22 for $475. Couldn't pass it up even if I have to raise the front an inch or so. Kind of over the stiff 24" ride plus I barely drive it. How bad will it rub?

My front sits lower than the rear with my McGaughys 3/5, is this common? I'm thinking the shop didn't adjust the keys right. Anyone have any measurements?

When I had my first 22s I had 305/40s on and the had a low offset and they rubbed worse then my 24s on 295/35s now I have 285/45/22s on my +31 offset wheels and have no rubbing issues other than when I back out of my driveway also I have a 3/5 Mcgaughy's kit but it's more like a 4/6 now that I've messed with it more

And it is common with Mcgaughy's to sit higher in the rear shock extenders and temoving the rubber isolaters from the coils will bring it down

Thank you, I love your hoe! I paid $475 for rims/tires so maybe I'll rock em a bit n sell em lol

Hopefully the 285 helps me a bit and I added shock extenders. =)

Did u notice a big difference in ride when you went from 24" to 22"?

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

Not really I mean there a difference on some rougher roads but not enough to make me swear by it the 295/35/24s where plenty of tread probably the main reason I traded was I wanted OEM wheels lmao

Yeah, 24"s can get rough but usually it's just road construction and older county roads. All of the other roads are smooth as silk.

I ride on 305s so they have a bigger footprint and I might feel more of the road than the 295 series. 305 series tires do give you a little more curb protection though.

Little but not much more sidewall and definitely more curb protection

22x9 with 285 45 22 on 13mm offset if you cut the rear bumpstop brackets will rub the fenderlip in rear done quite a few. If your rear bumpstops are still in and didnt do the free travel mod you will be fine
