Hello new to the forum. Has anyone placed an order for a 2026 Yukon Denali received a build date? I am of the understanding production starts Sept. 8th.

I hope the 2026 are more customizable. In Canada if you want the 3.0 in a Denali, you have to get the reserve package which atomically adds close to $15k to the price.
I don’t want auto running boards for all sorts of reasons.

You can go here for how the 2026's will be able to be ordered.

My order was accepted August 7th. Dealer told me just a minute ago my estimated production date is the week of 9/15. So perhaps I'll see it around the first of Roctober. He won't have pricing for me until he is invoiced.

You can only see what the packages contain. I think you’re looking for the gmc.com 2026 build site and it hasn’t been posted. Probably closer to Sept. 9 production. I’m waiting as well. The ‘26 sierra trucks and a few other models are up but not Yukon.

I submitted an order for a 2026 GMC Yukon Denali on August 7, 2025. Order is listed as accepted, but no build date yet. Some of the packages were noted as not yet available. Ha anyone ordered the Reserve Package? Do you know when it is available?

I submitted an order July 21st for a 2026 XL with the 3.0. I was notified last Monday it was scheduled for week of September 1st. I thought they were starting production of the 26s until the week of the 8th.

That’s what I thought. Maybe it just means yours is scheduled for the 26th.

After a long summer to get what we wanted we placed an accepted order 9-4-25 build date of 9-15-25 week.

Our dealer had been trying to get what we wanted over the last 3 weeks in either a Suburban or Yukon XL. Here is what was ordered:

2026 Yukon XL Elevation
red, lighter interior
Super Cruise/trailering package.

We also wanted black 22" and black badging. all 22" wheels were unavailable on the Elevation. My dealer is going to wait till delivery and we may move forward with wheels off eBay or Accessories. We were trying to get a Suburban LT placed with the super cruise package but none were being accepted.

I traded in my 23 Yukon XL early in the year. Was looking to economize and got a Traverse RS. Hate it. So here we are. Sort of an economy version Yukon with Super Cruise. I think this will be good. No need for 6.2, sunroof. Only thing i may miss is cooled seats. I am in northern WI and not a huge issue.

Our dealer is not giving us many details, but we placed an order August 8, and were notified the build date was scheduled for the week of September 1 with an expected delivery before the end of the month. We're in the DFW area so transport from Arlington is negligible. Not sure how that jives with the September 8 start date everyone has been reporting though. The last GM we ordered vs purchased off the lot several years ago was built in Silao Mexico. From the time they claimed it was complete to the time it showed up to the dealer was nearly 5 months!

My dealers website (Sewell GMC in Dallas) already shows a bunch of 2026 models. They are all pretty much spoken for and only have generic images, but interesting to see them starting to pop up.

Even more so considering the build configurator still is not live as of 9/11/25

Curious to know, when they're spoken for, are those folks blind to the price increases, or, it was their timing and not a lot they could do. Just me, my new cars and used car (4), 3/4 were early MY builds, and one was 6/11 for 2011. I have always wanted to get a late year production, so this time we got a 7/25 build for 2025. Seems some are the complete opposite. What's useful imho is to pull stickers on 2026's that are in transit. The High country deluxe package is almost $3k more than 2025 because super cruise is included. The base went up $1,700. The destination which also hit last week of July produced vehicles was up $400. This adds up to $5k more for the 2026 Tahoe HC. It's a lot to me. At any rate, to the plus side, custom ordering can take 9 weeks (ours did). That's not a long wait imho. They can be discounted the same amount as ones on the lot, another plus. Happy hunting all

My 26 suburban with a tpw of 9/8 has been built and transported to NJ. Next week to dealer? I was hoping for the Tahoe I speced out to be built soon for a side by side comparison with the burb. Suburban allocation has been good. Tahoes not so much.
Thinking I wanted a suburban anyway

To answer this question, yes. Basically people are ordering the vehicles with a vague understanding that the price will be more expensive but without a clear outline to how much more expensive.

When I spoke with my dealer, he told me to build out a 2025 and he can order a 2026 based off those numbers. He also advised that it will be more expensive but not sure how much more. At a minimum we know they have raised pricing by $1,100 ($700 MSRP, $400 destination). Any package price increases are still unknown.
