I have had the vehicle since May and have noticed road and wind noise since I got it. The doors have been tightened by the body shop because they were not flush. Have tried tightening multiple times. The body shop manager drove it on the interstate and thinks it is acceptable.

I am coming from a 2024 Denali and this is so much louder. I saw online that the badges on the 2025 come out more than the 2024. Curious if others have had issues with wind and road noise and found a solution. I have tried painters tape around the doors and didn’t notice a difference to isolate the issue. Going to try putting some tape of the side badge.

Could it be the tires? Good quality road tires compared to lower quality all terrains can be a noticeable difference.

Yeah, a lot of people like the look of these aggressive tires, Until they hear them on the highway. Vast majority of people never use them near their capacity.

I think the tires play a part but there is also wind noise I’ve never had before. Seems to be common issues with doors being misaligned and wind noise. I was coming from 2024 that was about to have engine recalled and they had this one on the lot. I would have never chosen the AT4 otherwise.

Tape over the entire cowl between the hood and the windshield to see if the noise is coming from there.

There are numerous Facebook posts with people with the exact same issue. But I am not on FB. That is where I saw the comment about the side badge being larger than in the past.

We have a 2025 yukon xl with the lz0 and its church quiet. Even with the more aggressive tires and front end.

Something is wrong. Mine is so quiet I can talk to people softly in the third row at 80mph.

I agree something isn’t right.

I’ve had the doors adjusted but I am curious how the doors are set for others. Does your driver’s door sit flush with the passenger door? Right now my passenger door sits out slightly compared to my driver’s door, especially at the top. Originally my passenger door wasn’t shutting tightly so they had been tightening that one. From walking around and looking at parking lots it looks like the passenger door is either flush or slightly set in from the drivers. Curious what others with no wind noise look like so I don’t have to keep looking like I am trying to break into a vehicle.

We recently purchased a 2026 High Country, coming from a 2021 Z71 Tahoe…..we have wind noise as well drivers side door, my wife noticed it immediately on her drive home. Not near as quiet as the 2021. I’m taking it to dealership tomorrow and expect them to either say can’t duplicate or it’s normal which I fully disagree coming from a 2021 with 120k miles. Curious if you have had anymore luck or found a solution? I have done the blue tape test and it seems it’s coming from where window goes into door frame at top and rear as this quoted it down a lot.
