Ok! I just hope they ship in September like some people are sayingThere should be no price change as long as your dealer put it in as a retail sold order.

I think if your order is not accepted sitting at 1100, you do not get the price protection. There should be no price change as long as your dealer put it in as a retail sold order.
My Chevy dealer sent me a 2023 Tahoe work bench build with a real 6 digit number on 06/13. I think it may be open already. My dealer (largest in my area) told me 2023 orders open up June 16 with delivery starting mid-August.

Interesting...you may be right but if they opened, it just happened I think. I heard from two different dealers that today/tomorrow things would officially open up for 2023's.My Chevy dealer sent me a 2023 Tahoe work bench build with a real 6 digit number on 06/13. I think it may be open already.

It has been confrimed by me dealer that last thursdaty orders were opened up for 23's. Only thing was pricing and updated brochures had yet to be set.Interesting...you may be right but if they opened, it just happened I think. Did your dealer say anything about pricing yet? I thought they had to have pricing before you got a confirmed order from GM?
The way one of my dealers explained it was if pricing wasn't established, those early orders will just get kicked back out once pricing is established and have to be resubmitted. Assuming that is true (and honestly I have no idea), it seems like we really need to have firm pricing established first. It has been confrimed by me dealer that last thursdaty orders were opened up for 23's. Yeah, I honestly don't know. But even if the dealer has to resubmit, that doesn't necessarily require any more paperwork from the customer. If the customer signs something saying pricing was "TBD", the dealer could re-submit without any additional approvals. You could always sign something later, this is just the order. But if you are going in tomorrow you might luck out. One dealer told me tomorrow he should have pricing....Not sure I would place any bets on that, but time will tellThats possible, but why would the dealers want to have folks come in multiple times to sign paperwork on a sale? I couldnt imagine wanting to make yet a 3rd trip into the dealer to try to order a tahoe. I had one trip on may 2nd to irder it the 2st time as a 22, going back tomorrow to change it over to a 23, and it would be really annoying to have to go back yet again in a couple of weeks to redo the papers again.
pretty sure the 3 yr onstar was included in the denali in 22 anywaySo I just talked to two different GMC dealers, and these are the guys who actually place the orders. They told me that pricing was announced today but orders cannot be submitted until tomorrow. What they told me was MSRP stayed the same from 2022 but they are now requiring a 3-year OnStar connectivity package which can not be removed. On the SLT it was $1500 option! I believe on the Denali it is only around $900. So I guess for me, the 2023 is $1500 more than it was last year.
Also if you go to Build and Price, it appears that it now reflects these new prices even though they only say 2022.
I assume things are still fluid but thought I'd share what I heard.
You are correct. 3 yr OnStar was standard on AT4 and Denali for 2022.pretty sure the 3 yr onstar was included in the denali in 22 anyway
Good to know...That probably explains the difference in the option price when the dealer brought up the Denali model vs the SLT model ($900? vs $1500). But still a little confusing on what exactly is included in that "option". Is it additional functionality? And what did they do to the overall price of the Denali? Did that also go up $1500 or a different amount? Since I haven't been pricing out Denali's maybe someone else can comment on that.pretty sure the 3 yr onstar was included in the denali in 22 anyway
Exactly this. Raise the MSRP and give me 3 years of "free" OnStar. In the end it's the same thing, but it's the optics of forcing a "data plan" on me when I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I absolutely loathe software subscription fees and it seems like GM is trying to get people forced into using OnStar so that when the 3 years is up, they are ingrained in using it and keep the subscription going.Still kind of a crappy way to do it...if you want to raise the MSRP by $1500, just raise it and say those things are included IMHO.
