All the gauges on my 2022 Z71 Tahoe started flickering and going crazy yesterday. All the gauges flicker, rpm going up and down, gas gauge going up and down constantly, oil and cycling through several alarms go off, such as the “Take Steering”.

Also the AC shut off while driving - air was blowing only out of the window defrost and all the AC controls were unresponsive. When I used my blinkers there was no sound so I don't know if they were actually lighting up or not.

We disconnected the battery hoping it would do a hard restart. Anyone else have this issue before or currently? All during the same time as I am waiting on a replacement Telematic Control Module that went out in January, along with other owners who seem to have been waiting for them to become available for longer than me. $100k vehicle with unreliable parts that they won't even restock!!!

Test your battery, you are nearing the zone where it could be dying.
These rigs require a strong battery and sometimes try to run the electrical system off the battery when running (to save back EMF in the alternator and eek out a bit more MPG).

Sounds like the classic weak battery syndrome or battery cables rotting from the inside out. Pull the battery, take it to a local auto parts store with a bench battery load tester, and get it load tested. As stated above, these truck's electrical systems are very sensitive to weak battery situations.

We tested the battery and it was fine. We ended up disconnecting the battery and leaving it off for a few minutes - kind of like doing a hard reboot on a computer. We reconnected it and it's been running fine since.

Great! Let's see if it keeps running good for the next few days.
