2 things. 1: That is a P/U truck. 2: SUV AT4’s and Z71’s do not have any factory lift or anything over a standard Tahoe or Yukon. I’ll ask again…..where are the lifted current gen GM SUV’s with broken suspension?

What did you here or know about only the 1" leveling kit for the front end? I wonder if the stealer would void the repair warranty if a ball joint issue occurs. Hmmmm
My RC 2” kit was installed by the stealership so they better stand behind a repair warranty if it was needed

Even if I found some you still wouldn't believe so you do your spacer lift without upgrading the control arms and enjoy.

No idea what you are referring to. I’m not encouraging or warning against any lift kit. Your claim was vague and the data you posted wasn’t even the correct vehicle. This is a Tahoe/Yukon forum…..not Silverado/sierra. They aren’t the same. If you have info on broken, lifted, current gen Tahoe/Yukon…..post it up. We all would like to see any issues.

Other people said yes
I just came across this thread so a bit late to the conversation. I have a 2022 tahoe Z71 without factory air suspension. I’m working with my local mechanic to add a lift, new tires and air suspension with compressor to tow my travel trailer. I reached out to Rough Country and asked why the site said the 2” lift/level kit was not compatible with Z71 and this was the response: “It fts but it will create geometry issues once installed and CV axle binding.” They said the front suspension is already heightened from the factory. Has anyone heard of CV axle binding?

They are wrong. The Tahoe/Yukon z71/AT4 is not any higher than any other….. Unlike the sierra/Silverado that can come with a lift. This only applies to non air ride Tahoe/Yukon.

And the ones with air ride, i would be really damn surprised if there is one single thing different with the axleshafts or anything along those lines…im sure its all the same, they just go up higher with the air suspension.

Agreed. They will share as many components as possible.

Z71 and at4s do not get lifts. The height comes from bigger tires alone. I'd bet money the front suspension on the SUVs matches the trucks, if I had a none air ride z71 I'd get the trailboss "lift" to get the longer cvs and a little higher ride height. Tons of companies making UCAs for the Silverado and sierras, just use those if you are worried about the UCAs failing.

The tires are the same overall size on the at4 and z71’s as any of the other higher end models (with 20’s and 22’s). The ones with 18’s have a smaller overall diameter though.

Pretty sure uca failure on these suvs after a leveling kit install is all rumor and hearsay at this point. Those silverados/sierras were failing after a level kit was installed in addition to the factory lift so 4” lift on stock uca

This. It was one persons claim and they sourced sierra/silverados as evidence.

That wouldbe incorrect. The Z71s have 275/60r20. All other models have the 275/55r20 or 285/45r22. Diameters are different.

Where did you even find those tire sizes listed? Everything I've seen shows standard tires on these new rigs as either 275/60/r20 (that's what came on our '21 slt) or 275/50/r22

Exactly. They dont sell them with the 285/45/22 anymore. They are 275/50/22, which is basically the same as 275/60/20.

So I spoke to RC Tech because their site says the 2" lift doesn't fit the 2021 Z71. He said it will fit but it's not recommended because the Z71 is already lifted and it will raise it too much without other changes which could damage the drive train.
I think their just trying to not have any issues with consumers who didn't realize the Z71 is already high. I would really like to see a Tahoe Z71 with the 2" lift because I want to upgrade to larger aftermarket wheels and tires. Any pictures of an 2" RC kit on a Z71 Tahoe 2021. No air lift suspension.
The Z71 does not come anymore lifted then the other trim levels. I have the RC 2" lift on my 2021 Z71 and have had zero issues. Also added some wheel spacers to give the stance I was looking for along with larger Nitto tires. Minor plastic trimming was needed to the fender wall to accommodate my changes. Currently have 12k miles with this lift installed and it rides great.
