Use your phone AA/Carplay. The K2 NAV system is way worse than the GMT900. I couldn't stand mine...
you know for $30-40 you can get a used garmin that has free lifetime map updates and works anywhere with a view of the sky
mine that has logged like 60,000+ miles goes with me on any road trip because---- it just works. so unless we get hit with another carrington event then it will always work.
even though it is 12+ years old it has the street that was just made down the road a few months ago.
the newest maps you can get on the k2's is the 2023 thru wams, it is a mail in service, it takes about 5 minutes to pull the hmi out

GM HMI Map Update Service
Just because GM discontinued map updates for your HMI equipped vehicle doesnt mean you cant get them; WAMS has you covered!
