2019 Tahoe Fuel Neck Filler

2019 Chevy Tahoe LT

Check engine light P0455... Large evap leaking. This vehicle does not have a gas cap so...

Took to mechanic who smoke tested the system... Determined the capless fuel tank filler neck is leaking and needs replaced.

Told the part is not available and could be a week or many months... Said they'll only install parts from GM.

Check engine light is on so remote start won't work, needing fixed asap.

Cost quote... $802. Does this seem right?

If it's just the flap that's leaking, you may want to consider something like this for a temporary fix.
