I'm hoping to get some help here as I am at wits end. I am trying to figure out why my display goes out when I hit bumps The radio still works and plays audio. I can touch the screen and that works but the screen is black. Its not always consistent. I had to try several times before I got it to do it. I already replaced the entire display unit. I have not tried anything else. I have a 2018 suburban. The next thing I was going to try was the HMI unit but that's over $500 and I don't want to waste any more money. I brought it to the dealer who said it was the display unit but I already changed it. Here's a link to a video of what it does. I hit the dash acting like I am hitting a bump. Its that spot that does it. I've hit it in other spots and it doesn't do anything. Sometimes I can hit it again and it comes back on.

Thanks

Sounds like a loose connection in the wiring, possibly just needs to be secured better
