Just purchased a 2017 Yukon XL Denali after GM repurchased my 2015 Tahoe LTZ. Placed my order mid August, vehicle was made mid September, and delivered to my dealer yesterday.

So far I have about 50 miles on it and can't be happier. Took it on a long test drive and didn't experience any buffeting or vibrations. I'm hoping (and crossing my fingers) I have better luck with my new Yukon than I did with the last Tahoe!

Many328, thanks. Other than the active aero shutters, I haven't noticed anything different. I've been working a lot since getting the car.

William quirck, I'll try to get some pictures posted tonight of the dash and radio. The new blue background on the cluster looks a lot better than the old red.

thank you looks nice any other changes?

They changed the "air conditioned" seats to "ventilated" for 2017. The new ventilated seats are a lot cooler than the air conditioned that we're in my 2015.

Congrats on the new 2017, Randy! Why did GM repurchase your 2015? Buffeting? I had two repurchased for the buffeting and have been waiting for a positive report from someone who knows exactly what to look for in the 2017s. Thanks for your help and feedback!

Interesting. I thought Irridium was discontinued in 2017 so I ordered the mineral metallic but have not seen it in person yet.

I guess I confused this with the steel grey being discontinued.

By the way, the 2017 Yukons are now on GMC website for anyone wanting to look.

My 15 Tahoe did not have the buffeting or vibration issues. However, I had a 16 Tahoe as a loaner while mine was in the shop and I experienced both with the loaner Tahoe. So far I have about 200 miles on my Yukon XL Denali and don't have these problems. So far I've noticed the ride and comfort is so much better than the 2015 and 2016 Tahoes I've driven.

By the way, GM repurchased my 15 Tahoe for ongoing electrical issues, front driver seat shifting, AC going out twice, and transmission mounting bolts coming loose twice... hope this helps.

Yes I believe it was the steel grey that was discontinued. I was told by a dealer that the iridium metallic was discontinued for the Sierra trucks.

Nice. If it rides better I wonder if there are new suspension updates, again? Or is it the longer wheelbase?
