2015 Tahoe - issues with collision alert?

Wait till the first time the brakes apply themselves, and they do in my Tahoe. I find the warning usually pretty good, but it doesn't 'see' a vehicle making a turn anticipating its departure from the path in front, it's just a good solid object detector. I keep it on, it does what it should and is a good backup.
