2015 Yukon SLT 117k CEL starts blinking 25 miles after oil change and Valvoline mini tune up. Currently 3/4 tank of E85, could that be the issue.

Oil looks clean as it should. I don’t have my scanner with meValvoline is the problem…
1st yhing pop the hood and check oil, look over everything and see if anything jumps out at you. Id check air filter cover…
Got a scanner? Plug it in and check… then drive that mfer right back there and tell them to fix whatever it is they did…
It’s a product valvoline developed to clean the motor, fuel system, fuel injectors and apparently cause multiple misfires. They add one part to engine before the oil change, run it drain and refill. They add one other part is added to gas tank. What is a mini tune up
How old are the spark plugs. Any fuel smell at all?
Thanks for reading my saga. The only way to trust it right now is to convince myself the oil change tech sabotaged meYou have to be able to trust it.
Yes.am i hearing you right? Did you tell them to put that in the engine??
And after you got it back it started the flashing CEL?
I agree with @PG01 100%. Those shops are a recipe for disaster.2015 Yukon SLT 117k CEL starts blinking 25 miles after oil change and Valvoline mini tune up. Currently 3/4 tank of E85, could that be the issue.
It wasn’t a shop it was an up until now, reputable used car dealership. A mini tune is a fancy name for an engine flush and injector cleaning. There’s actually another company that sells tune up in a bottleI agree with @PG01 100%. Those shops are a recipe for disaster.
I'm chuckling while writing this though.....what's a "mini-tune up?" Definitely sounds quick lube-esk. LOL
Depending on what it consists of, I may just start slinging oil and filters again. With a side order of mini tune-ups to go.....
LOL to tune-up in a bottle. Gimmicks still have a marketIt wasn’t a shop it was an up until now, reputable used car dealership. A mini tune is a fancy name for an engine flush and injector cleaning. There’s actually another company that sells tune up in a bottle![]()
