Due to current incentives to get rid of old stock, I can get a 2014 LTZ for cheaper than the current LT. I like the older body style much better, but the new interiors are supposedly much better. However, I figure an LTZ interior is bound to be pretty nice too. Anyone have firsthand experience with the two models? Is the difference in ride quality and comfort substantial?

Thanks.

2015>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2014. I would even go as far as to say a 2015 LT is better than any <2014 Escalade. I have owned a lot of GM SUVs since 99 and 2015 is the best by 10 miles. I have a 2015 GMC SLT and it feels like a benz inside

I have a 2015 LT and love it. Only thing I wish my LT had versus the LTZ is the blind spot monitors and the forward sensors. I could a got em in a package but didn't want to spend the extra money.

I'd say go and look for yourself and make your own determination. What you might like others don't. Plus, if the savings are substantial it might make the choice easier.

Personally, I'd probably go with the '14 until the bugs are worked out of the '15's.

IMO, buying a model that is now dated wouldn't interest me a bit..at any price.
But if you need to order, good luck with that...

We drove 2012 Escalade, 2013 Denali, 2014 LTZ, and a 2015 LT. When we got back from driving the 2015 LT there was no question which one we wanted. e now have over 9000 miles on our 15 LT and absolutely love it.

Do you plan to keep it any length of time? I trade trucks like I trade wives... Every 3 years or so. The value of a dated body style is dropping quickly as folks like me upgrade to the new '15s.
I can't speak to the LT model but previous gen. LTZ vs '15 LTZ, no comparison. This is the nicest interior/riding platform yet.
As for the looks of exterior, I'm with you, I originally hated them. Then I saw one with 22" wheels and decided that's what was missing. The body is so huge that 20"s don't look right.

I don't love the 15s on the outside. They seem Toyota like boxy. But I do like the new Yukon A LOT and these new interior are slick
