2013 LT backup camera

Anyone installed a rearview camera in a gmt900 without a license plate bracket camera? Looking to install in the oem camera location. I found oem cameras with the bracket not sure if the wiring is already ran to the front.

I have a 2012 Z71 looking for the factory wiring for the backup camera, is it in the liftgate taped up or still in the headliner taped up
