It seems that there is an issue, the passenger side is operating as expected: you pull, it clicks and stops when forcing the belt forward.
The seat belt is not for sale on the gm site:

Some other vendor claims to have the part but has very poor reviews 1.5 out of 5, any recommended vendor for this front driver side belt?
