2009-2012 Spectre air intake system

I purchased this to put on my 05 Denalli but found out it was for an 07-12 and cant return it. Anyone know if I can make this work with a few mods. Is it worth it?

the couplers are kind of chintsy but at 70 dollars on amazon its hard to beat. i bought it and only used the tube with teh stock airbox since i already had a high flow filter in there. adds a nice throaty sound to the intake.
