2008 Silverado Build

Well i dont have my tahoe anymore but i have my silverado and they are pretty similar so hopefully this gives people ideas. Some people enjoyed my tahoe build, so enjoy!

Mike Singer 275amp alt - coming soon
2 XS Power D3400's - coming soon

Pioneer 80prs - done
2 Vifa BC25SC06-04's - done
4 Dayton DC160-4's - have them
AB SQ-500 - have it
AB SQ-925 - have it
Oxygen Audio M2.5k - have it (soon to be AB VFL 200.1)
4 15" RE SE's with FI baskets and soft parts - have them ( soon to be 4 15" AB XFL's )

Box will be ~16cuft@30-32Hz

Will be all Audio Technix wire, Stinger RCA's.

Started at the Headunit:

I know people are gonna ask why i didnt run a double din, its because no double din offers the tuning options i need since i am goign to be running active.

Tweeters:

These pillars are temporary because im not sure if i will run 2 or 4 vifas, i gotta make sure they can keep up with my substage. As soon as i find what i like they will be fiber glassed and color matched.

Back wall has 2 layers of Audio Technix 60 mil sound deadening:

Well i plan to out do myself on this one, im going for a hybrid build this time SQ and SPL so we will see how it does.

dumb question....what are the switches and digitial display for?

the digital display is my voltage, you gotta keep an eye on it when running 4k+ watts not trying to smoke a $700 amp. the right switch is for the volt meter, the middle switch is for my mono amp, and the left switch is for my highs / mids, thats so i dont have to unhook my amps when setting all my gains.

yeah sorry. Got the SQ-500 and SQ-945 in, have to build something to get the second pair of Dayton mids in, and found out 2 Vifa tweets wont be enough, good thing i made baffles on my pillars big enough for 2 on each side. So im gonna swap the SQ-500 for a SQ-475 to run the 4 Vifa's.

My M2.5k ended up being thrsashed from getting dropped in shipping so i am running all 4 15's on a AB ph2500 for temporary so they are all seeing like 175 watts each right now... lame as hell. But until i can afford a $700 VFL200.1 the PH2500 will have to do. It still gets fairly loud and makes my exhaust rattle something awful, no videos until i get the power i want in there. Box is 16cuft@31Hz and was a ***** to get in, i measured about an inch too big for the depth and we almost weren't able to flip it so the subs would face up. thought i was gonna have to run it facing forward for a minute. Still lots more work coming, lots of trim and interior beautifying coming up. Just wanted to be sure it was gonna fit before i put a bunch more work into it. got a show to go to this weekend then after that i will have plenty of time to rip it all out and clean it all up and swap the amps and what not.
