2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ - Best iPod integration package

Can anyone help me decide the highest quality iPod integration package I should buy for best sound and so I can control my iPod through my Navigation screen and steering wheel? I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ. Right now I use an Aux cable plugged into the headphone jack of my iPod, and feel like my music is base heavy and doesn't sound as good as it could.

Also is there anything else worthwhile I could do to my factory system/speakers to enhance audio? Anyone ever used the "Noise Pads" that go into the doors to reduce road noise?
