2006 Yukon XL ( parts digging ) 3/4 ton mirage.

I'm noticing a pattern is the 1/2 Yukon XL pretty close to a 3/4 ton when it has all the heavy duty options ? It's like maybe lighter frame but alot parts are same as couple years older 3/4 tons . GM might be recycling tooling is my point . Because heavy duty option parts are still higher prices .

There was a pickup called the heavy-half. Ford had the 777. Both, if memory serves, had 3/4-ton running gear on 1/2-ton chassis.
