$30k is a wee lil bit much, but I'd be far more comfy blowing $30k on one of these
compared to buying a brand new one for twice as much with 2x more unnecessary 'features' that could go wrong ...

For that kind of $$ I'd expect the engine cover to be installed straight and the coolant topped off. Musta had a high pressure oil pump put in.

There was a recent 2006 Z71 that was same color as mine and at around 70k and listed as excellent. Had a big scrape at the right rear wheel well and 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts and leaking front axle seals and a couple other leaks and he wanted $18k. I wanted it but not at that price. I said his definition of excellent was different than mine.

Yes, it is still up at CL. If I was to put a new engine and transmission in mine, with all the other work I have done, I still cannot get what they are asking for the one at CL.
I think it is clear THEY cannot get what they are asking for the one on CL.
(To be clear, that dig is NOT directed at you!)
