2005 Tahoe trans cooler lines c clip

Hey guys how do I get the C clip off the transmission cooler lines where it goes into the radiator? I cannot get it to budge at all.

I've never heard of anyone having trouble with it.

I used a pick. not easy cause of the crap that builds in there. but it works and you can reuse the clips again.

Shoot the clip area with brake cleaner with the straw attached. That cleans them up pretty good. Grab one end of the "C" clip with a hook shaped pick and pull it up slowly, ready to catch it when it pops off. At the shop we call them "Jesus Clips" because if you're not ready when they pop off, you are likely to say "JESUS... where the hell did that fly off to?"

I got them off and changed my fluid, thanks guys!

It didnt fly on me! I still have the original one.
