heys fellow tahoe/yukon lovers. new here and looking for help with repair issue.....was changing fuel pump on 04 z71 tahoe with Zin 8th spot in vin. broke the little end of of what looks like a vent. can find the part online but cant figure out how to get it out of the tank. its made of a purple colored plastic and lookd to be pressed in, but it so tight im afraid of damaging the tank prying it out........ any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated. and nice to be here.

It's an evap vent connection, apparently the one near the front of the tank. What broke off, and do you have a clearer pic of it? I believe these are plastic welded into the tank and are not easily replaceable.

Note that the evap lines DO NOT need to be removed from the FF tank when dropping it. Just the three evap canister connections and the rear connection at the canister vent valve. The fuel lines near the frame rail do need to be snapped out of their support clips, as well as released from the pump.
