2004 denali xl awd. What headers with stock exhaust.

Hey fellas. The exhaust manifold of my 2004 denali xl are cracked. Might as well put some headers. Has anyone replaced the stock manifold with shorties that bolt up to the stock cat piping?

Most shorty headers will bolt right up to the stock Y pipe. Though, you gain basically nothing from shortys, so you'd better off saving the money and get another set of stock manifolds. Shorty headers have been dyno proven to gain like only 7hp, which will never be noticed. They're considered a waste of money.

You will be much better off, if you get a BlackBear Performance remote tune, as it is the best bang for the buck performance-wise.
