I installed after market tail lights on my 2003 gmc yukon. All the lights work and I cleaned all the rear grounds/ checked all the fuses. When I turn the signals on, one signal flashes but both tail lights flash along with the signal. The tail light on these lights is an LED bar. I do have a resistor installed on the signal. Any ideas?

What exactly was done to tie in these new lights? Where did you make connections? Photos wold help.

To me, it kind of sounds like you might have tapped the hot (12V+) on your stop light strip/bar into a ground wire for turn signals...

Maybe? Might explain power leaving the turn signal bulb passing to the new strip thing you added before getting to chassis ground.
