I have a 2000 Yukon and am looking to upgrade to something better with bluetooth. It is a bose system currently with a factory sub.I have already replaced sub and speakers with Skar products and it sounds good. Anyone?

Interesting that your sound system still sounds good with the non-Bose speakers, as that it typically not the case, due to Bose having non-standard speaker impedances compared to aftermarket speakers. That change usually produces a somewhat muffled sound at a lower volume.
I suggest that you commit to a firm budget number, if you haven't already done so, and give the folks at Crutchfield a call and discuss in detail. They can provide you with options for a new head unit, plus the required interface device to keep your steering wheel controls active. Also, tell them that you currently have a Bose amplifier. This way, you will have options that have been proven to be compatible with your truck.
Obviously, you don't have to purchase from Crutchfield if you don't want to, but you can use their price as a competitive benchmark to look/compare at other retailers, though Crutchfield is generally quite competitive on price. I am not connected/affiliated with Crutchfield in any way.
Regarding head unit recommendations, budget plays a huge role in that. Kenwood and Pioneer are fairly popular among members here, and they each make a variety of head units at different price points, to accommodate most budgets. I've had/have several Kenwood head units, and they have worked great for me.

I can say that all of the speakers were rotted away so it sounded like a transistor radio. Thanks, I will reach out to Crutchfield and see what they say.

BTW, with the correct interface unit, there won't be any splicing, soldering, crimping of wires. It will be complete plug and play.
you can fit a double din in there easily
fitment is good, you just need to cut out that metal bracket behind the stock radio and trim the front cover, easily done

I installed a Sony XAV-AX3200 on my 1999 Silverado extended cab and my 06 Suburban. I like it overall. Just a few minor bugs on it, but may be my Android phone.
On my pickup, I brought their bezel trim piece with the taller double Din opening.
On my 06 Suburban I deleted the original Bose amp several years ago. The interface has a preamp output and line level output, you just flip a little switch. I initially didn't know this and their tech support told me about that. Although I don't think that interface is the same for the 00-02 SUV models.
