I recently bought this belltech kit from another member on here (should be here next week), I wanted to find out from some of you that have experience with drops so I'm not expecting too much.
1. Will I be ok with 305/35/24's? BTW, I don't know the offset
2. What kind of ride should I expect?
3. Will it bottom out when I hit a bump etc?
4. Should I plan on replacing my rear shocks? if so with what? (part#'s)
Sorry for all of the questions but I have never had a lowered vehicle before and I know a few people that have and most of them rode like shit so that's why i'm asking.

I'm sure most have seen the post in the for sale section but just in case here's a pic of the kit.

Thanks in advance for the help

1. With your 24's it will fit
2. The front should ride fine but the back may ride a little rough depending on shocks.
3. It shouldn't bottom out with a 4" drop but if so you may consider the free travel mod.
4. I will recommend some bilstein HD shocks for the rear (not sure on the part#). Good shocks are recommended for a quality ride.

Would the ride in the rear be a hard ride with the new bilstein hd shocks?
I'm just asking because I went thru a few older posts and I noticed some have said even after the change the rear still has a bad ride.

Got the drop done, I ended up using the stock rear shocks for now. It's not as low as I expected but hopefully the rear will get lower once it settles. Let me know what you all think.....

that's hot did you run into any issues with drop kit? how's the ride ? did you have to redo the alignment again ? What size tires are you running do they rub.
Sorry for all these questions but this is my next mod, I originally wanted to go with a 2/3 but after seeing yours look like i want the 2/4 now..

Thanks, no issues with the kit. I did have to have it aligned again and I have 305/35/24's with no rub. I must admit in the pics it doesn't look all that low but I really notice a difference in person.

I got a 2-4 Belltech drop kit on mine and my rear end did ride rough but I put Air Spring Helpers in, it helped out alot but I'm still gonna have to do the Free Travel Mod my bump stops are really close to touching I'm also running bout 5psi in the bags, I removed the bump stops to see how it was gonna ride and it hellva lot closer to stock ride now! Yours looks a little high still but it should settle down. Did you take measurements before lowering it and after you did?

If you bought the kit used it probbaly won't settle any more.

+1

It won't settle because the springs are used. They are/have already settled. IMO, you rear shocks are keeping it up.

And you can probably take more of the screws out of your front keys to get it a little lower as well.

It looks ok, but a 2/4 kit should have dropped it more.

I actually did have the front lower than it is but I put it back up because it looked stock with that nasty rake. What shocks should I use??

Bilstein HD rear shocks f4-be5-6501-h0

Did you measure before and after to see how much the rear actually came down?

I think i'm going to go 3/5... start saving the $$ now to do it right. Just don't want to spend over a grand.

Including shocks it can be done. Mine was just under $1000 not including the sway bars. $1100 including sways.
