1999 k2500 7.4 distributer question

Hey guys I'm doing an intake gasket on my burb, its got the bigblock 454 and I had to do a distributer Cus the old one was junk,so I got one from performancedistributers.com.... And the truck doesn't start now. I've checked the plug wires, the are in the correct order. The thing I notice about this distributer is the hold down is different. It's like a clip on and doesnt allow for adjustment. Weird??? Any input would be great!

there is more than one that fits on there. try using the original. if you don't have it you can get them at local shops.
