i've decided to sell my factory OG wheels and tires from my 1999 Tahoe two door, two wheel drive- https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/wto/d/encinitas-1999-gm-factory-alloy-wheels/7520227447.html. I took them off at 12,000 miles, and I've kept them for the past 11 years stored in my garage, and now it's time to let them go. They would definitely set off any correct restoration of various mid 90's GM suv and trucks. Tires are virtually impossible to find in this condition, and the rims are almost perfect. I remember when I first got my ‘97 GT, I thought the handling was awesome. I skidded from the inside lane of a corner, out across two outside lanes with the stock Goodyear Wranglers. I took them off with only 5000 Kms, and traded them in for a set of Pirelli Scorpions. It handled like a 4x4 Corvette after that.

When I bought my '99, the previous owner had made a number of cool mods to the truck, but the stock wheels were still on it which I couldn't figure out why. I asked him and he told me that the roads in the area where he lived were so bad that a larger tire/wheel combo would be terrible. Well, here in CAli, that's the first thing I did which was put a set of 18" American wheels and Michelin tires on it.
