100k miles. Planning long trip to Tahoe

I am getting my 2005 Yukon ready for a 3000 mile trip. It has 146k miles. Replaced fuel and water pumps, hoses and belts plus all fluids. Are there any know other parts I should replace before a long trip like this. Thanks All comments welcome.

FYI, you posted in the 2015-2016 section. I do have a 2001 Silverado LT 5.3 4x4 with 275k all original and trust it to drive any distance. If you haven't had your in tank fuel pump replaced that might be the next to go. I assume the 2005s run the same fuel system as the 2001. You could replace your fuel filter.

Have all the brakes checked, change your wipers. If you don't have a basic parts/emergency repair bag put one together. Regardless of the vehicles age or condition a simple bag with basics would surprise you and can usually get you to a shop at minimum saving you a potential tow cost or just getting you back on the road.

Been on a few trips myself, one I got hit with terrible rain. 15 min in the passenger side wiper blade ripped off

No matter how far of a trip I go on I alway make sure I have the AAA plan that has the 300 mile tow option. Also having the tool kit for the truck is a great idea. I had a packed toolbox bolted down to the aux battery location in my Silverado and only had to use it once, it was better than getting a tow but I wasn't all stressed out if it was something that could not have been fixed. The basic's you have covered, belts, hoses, checking for leaks, all the fluids. Pack it up and bring some CD's you haven't heard in awhile and enjoy the trip.

It may seem trivial...but I always carry a bottle of Glass Cleaner and some good clean rags. Nothing will wear you down on a long trip like looking through a dirty windshield !!

Also take along a tire gauge.
