Yep, they howl louder and louder as they age, some worse than others.

I rotate mine every 10,000 Km. They last much longer that way and wear more evenly.

I chose 10,000 km as it worked out to every second oil change. You can choose your own mileage.

Make sure they are properly inflated if they are a LT E tire as well.

They are LT and there E weight .. I got 40 psi when not pulling anything . I just guessed that be right so it slow down the rough ride .
Yukon xl like 5700 lbs .

I am on my third set of bfg ko series, my last set I ran at 38-40 and only got 37,000 miles with proper rotations. Just got the new set and according to BFG they recommend 48 psi. I thought I would hate the increase but turns out the truck drives better then ever ! Just figured I’d toss it out there as I just learned myself.

Howling is usually an alignment issue- generally too much toe in. Look at the sidewall of tire, inflate to max pressure shown as a starting point. On a 10 ply you can drop 10# or maybe more if tire crown excessive. I run Cooper AT3 and love em. About 50-60000 per set at 60#.
