thanks @tiktok4321

I am thinking if I can make couple of tweaks to reduce alignment issues. 1) removing the hinge bolts of hood and having hood support instead of removing hood fully 2) removing the fender liner partially i.e. clips and bolts connected to fender and leaving the rest in place.

can you please validate if these tweaks are ok?

You may be able to do that. My concern with #1 is that you could potentially twist the hood bracket. If you can prop up the hood securely, that's ok, not just worried it could move when working on the rest.

Reviving old thread....
What body panels (07-14) are interchangeable across the various platforms.
Will Silverado or Avalanche fenders/hoods/bumper covers, fit Tahoes?
Thanks!

Tahoe, Avalanche and Suburban are direct swaps. Silverado, Sierra and Escalade, etc. can be swapped if you swap the core supports. Then there's the wiring and lighting arrangement mismatches. All, other than Tahoe, Suburban and Avalanche, have to have their respective hoods, grilles, etc. No mixing of these parts.
