'07 Yukon XL Denali - Radio speakers cut in/out

I have an '07 Yukon XL Denali and the newest item that it does is when driving the radio speakers on the driver side cut in and out.

Sometimes when I know that they are not working if I smack the console down by the gas pedal they will come back on, they go off after a little while.

Any one else having an issue like this?

Not me in my 07.

The fact that the radio comes back on shows there’s a intermittent issue with continuity. Either take it to a reputable stereo shop for diagnosis or begin inspecting the harness starting at the rubber boot that runs between the jamb & door sill.
