The mode actuator is in the driver's footwell, up under the dash, near the center console.

Don't skimp and buy Dorman or whatever, stick with these two part numbers: 15-73952/89018374

Lots of youtube videos and it is essentially the same procedure for 2000-2013 Silverados and Sierras too. Need to do mine but when the weather cools. Well, my kids will do it for me, can't get under there anymore.

i got it done, sucked lining up the new actuator. which actuator and location is the one that switches from cold to hot? sometimes when i go from 60 to 90 degrees the heat wont warm up, i have to go back from 60 to 90 a couple tiems and then it will switch
