So i ive ALWAYS wanted a tahoe since young. Finally bought an 07 tahoe and noticed it had no sound at all! Rest of truck was in great shape so i bought thinking it would be an easy fix. Read some thread and ended up replacing the amp, but nothing. Radio/deck seems to work but i HAVE noticed every now and then it the screen seems to go crazy but only till i touched a button then it would seem to go back to norm. It tracks me and i can see radio stations. Its factory bose. HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

You state, "Radio/deck seems to work...", and I'm not sure what that means, if you are getting no sound. Please advise.

The factory radio seems to be working but no sound in the truck at all: blinkers, door chimes, volume from radio, etc...just absolute silence.

Go into the DIC programming with the buttons to the right of the wheel and look for Chime and any other volume related options and see if they’re off. Also, these rigs are famous for having bad grounds at this age.

also check the fuse's
if the fuses are good then you need a tech2 to get some diagnostics done if you can't find anything obvious.
you can pull out the center console cover (cup holders and storage pocket) it pops up and out with clips and under there is the bose amp and wiring, you could trying jiggling the harness and see if it just has a short.
personally I would yank that radio out and put in something more modern. Over the last couple of years aftermarket radio's have moved to wireless android auto and car play

Thats what im doing ultimately. I just wanted to know, before getting new android, what exactly the issue is. I already jigged wired, cleaned em, and replaced amp. Idk what a tech2 is, im guessing a diagnostic machine of some sort. Ill try that next...good looking

A Tech2 is the diagnostic tool a dealer would use and can pinpoint just about any problem on your rig.
