06 Escalade, how to remove base that holds 3rd brake light?

Hi All,

My wife's 2003 Escalade had the dealership do some damage to the rear 3rd brakelight. I now have to replace the BASE that the 3rd brake light goes into? (This is at the top of the rear hatch). Has anyone done this and tell me HOW to do this? I 've check youtube and searches and haven't come up with anything. Appreciate the help in advance...
