So looking through this thread of constant upgrades and polishing I’m super jealous and pissed. I take pride in my ride however have seriously been slacking in keeping it clean. Have to say you suck man you should be banned. Lmao just kidding. That is one slick clean ride like you said it doesn’t matter what kind of money is in it. You’ve sweated you’ve tried and failed at mods and came out with one beautiful ride that you should be proud of. That goes for anyone else with their ride. busting their balls to make it sweet and different. Doesn’t take thousands and thousands of dollars to have something nice. And dude much respect living in all that snow and ice and maintain a ride to that quality takes work. Cause I know cutting an buffing these behemoths isn’t a quick and easy task. Like everyone else has said I love the blue. Had three blue trucks before my tahoe searched and searched and mine was the nicest I could find for the money and it is white lol. Beautiful ride man beautiful ride

And this is why I hate sending my truck to ANY shop here. Alaska is the land of hack jobs? I’ve had it at 3 different shops since I last crawled under it. When I changed wheels I seen this last week. View attachment 244592
Nice ARCAN XL 2500 Floor Jack.. Just bought my second one last night from Costco.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. No shame in my car game. I just do what I like and what makes me happy, if other people like it then that’s a bonus

Still have the first one. I liked it so much bought a second one. Still have a Craftsman aluminum racing jack and a 3 ton floor jack but its so heavy to move around I replaced it with the Arcan's.
Glad to hear . I’ve been buying cheap jacks every few months seems. So I finally bucked up and got a big boy jack, super happy that I did.

Thanks to @NeverSatisfied for the link on tint wrap. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1KRMQZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yHtJEb7EBD59T

I decided to give it a shot. layed some on the already smoked tails. Didn’t lay over the reverse part. Then layed some in the corner area of the turn signals, the bright white was kinda bothering me.

You can see the difference where I did the tails on the wife’s car and also see the swirls on the hoes paint

Just like anything else this does take some skill. I’m getting better with practice. The lights I’ve down and the esky rack I wrapped are mainly flat. But learning how to work around the edges and the edges are tricky. I’m no pro but I’m pretty impressed with myself :D
I can see the 03+ silvy tails being a pain but it just takes time and patients. This stuff is pretty forgiving and very workable

Visiting a homie at the shop. He just wrapped his truck again. Truck looked way better low but still a clean build. Stopped by to grab some lamin-x film for the new fog lights since amazon is taking its sweet time to send anything.

I wanted a led fog light , since the factory z71 fogs are a generic 4” round I had hundreds of options. After narrowing down my choice between jw speaker, morimoto xb, and others I finally picked a pair.
I got oem myotek led fog lights off a 2019ish wrangler rubicon (also come on gladiator) . Compared to any other led fog light these are the brightest with the widest and farthest output. Insane output. but then I had to figure out how to mount them. After racking my brain I ended up using brackets off a base model Jeep Wrangler. The leds came with just mounting ears (had to shave off), the halogens came with brackets. So I measured and cut up some halogen brackets to hug the led housing. Then used plastic weld , followed by 5200 , and wrapped everything with flex seal tape just cause lol

Scuff the housing and bracket so whatever you use for adhesive it has something to grab onto. @Rocket Man did you use the gun for the Lord plastic weld ?

So for the depo projectors I wanted to make something that was bolt on for an easy access or anything needs to be changed. I used rubber stripping and universal dust caps as seals. Any openings I just shoved some retrorubber in those spots.

Wanted to use the depo shrouds but that ended up being more of a pain than it’s worth. So I used some Gatling gun shrouds shaved down a little so it clears everything perfectly
