So I got some basic smd led switchbacks for the tails. Red for parking , white for reverse. Took out the eagle eye reverse lights.

Got another set of 3157 plugs for these. Same concept as the front turn signals 4 hi mod i did. So basically I have 6 parking lights total....so I have 6hi tail light mod? Did I just invent another mod? Lol

Reverse only

Of course I don't expect these to be nearly as bright as the eagle eyes for reverse. But I plan to add a high powered led cube or two under the bumper.

Just an idea I wanted to try out with standard tails since I don't have them fancy led tails that all yall have :secret:
I give credit to a nnbs member on here for a similar idea. Except he had the idea of white reverse lights with amber switchbacks for turns.
Pretty cool.

TSB = Technical Service Bulletins

http://www.chevroletproblems.com/tsbs/

Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) are recommended steps and procedures for repairing vehicles. A TSB is issued by Chevrolet when there is a growing trend with an unanticipated problems, but does not warrant a recall.

Different dusk pics with the lights for a better aspect of how they light up. I'm not gonna lie I love the way they light up, looks so much better in person. Pics don't do them justice.

Side note: I need a real camera. Any inputs on an entry level camera?

Coming to the end of summer I should have more free time to finish up some projects for the hoe. I'm not gonna shoot myself in the foot and say what and when or else it won't happen lol. Just have to stay tuned in.

HD grille. Trimmed the lower part a little more than an inch. There's a middle bracket. Trimmed that as well and kept it for extra support. Everyone asks how much need to be trimmed. Well after I did mine it's hard to measure exactly so I trimmed it to where it's flush with the lower mounting tabs.

You can see the middle brace that bolts on the back side along with the bowtie. It hangs down. I was able to slide that part behind the bumper pad but it wouldn't pop the rivet into place.

You can also see where the trimmed part is flush with the outer mounting spots.

2 miles later I immediately get the infamous check engine light:smh:
Only lightly oiled one side, the dirty side. Might take it out and clean it and run it dry, should be OK ?

Got new shoes. 2011'ish Denali 20s on bald tires. You don't wanna know how much I paid for them. But hey they look clean. Get new rubber this fall.
Loaded them up in my cousins Silverado. He's gonna buy those black Denali 20s we set next to his wheels.

I thought 20's would look bigger than 18s. But they were only 2 inches bigger. So now I want 22s:hmm:

If it's not oiled it's not filtering good. Did you follow the instructions as far as amount of oil and let it sit awhile? I've never had a problem with 2 different oiled filters.

Maybe 03 system is more sensitive. My 05 silverado did the same thing. No running issues tho
