Need some help with my 04 tahoe rear coil springs. I removed the nivomat shocks and put in bilsteins. The springs are supposed to be replaced as well.
The bilstein springs have been on back order for two months so my tahoe is sagging 3 inches in the rear.
Is there a stock spring that will work Z71? or ?

i ordered mine from summit last month and got them in 2.5 weeks. summit said they wouldnt have them till 3/17. then have to ship them to me. i actually got them last week. they really made all the difference in the world. got rid of the horrible body roll over bumps and going into a parking lot etc. and got my ride height back. we do alot of traveling with another couple. truck rides so much better all loaded up now. i went with stock springs and bilsteins for 3-4 months. was really bouncy when loaded up. i used the 199021 spring.

Thanks Jason
I ordered mine from Summit as well. A month and a half ago, I'll call Summit for an update. Good to hear they work well.

Looking for the same springs

I have called Bilstein directly and they are not scheduled to ship from their supplier until May 14th. That seems pretty darn crazy, but I guess that is how things go sometimes. Would be interested to know if you got yours sooner from summit as I did not want to order mine until I can get all 4 shocks and springs. (converting autoride to standard suspension)

The guy at bilstein said to get the z71 springs, he believes they are the same springs as the 199021's.

It sounds like you swapped out the shocks, how does it ride with the bilsteins?

Did you use the resistor trick and pull the fuse to disable the warning light on the dash?

I am trying to find a source as well, if I get anything will post a follow up.

not good. I replaced the self leveling nivomats not electronic. The springs are hotchkiss lowering springs that worked well with the nivomats. Now that one Nivomat was leaking i decided to swap over to the bilstiens with shocks and springs. I have been on hold for the springs for over two months so I'm going to get the Z71 w/0 third row springs?
