Hey everyone, i have a 2003 Tahoe
Problems:
No 1st or overdrive gears
No dash lights
Couple years ago i had a trans lose 1st and 4th and it was the trans that was bad, however i just checked this time with a trans shop and they are saying my trans is good, they tested the solenoid and it tested correct.
They told me that i should buy another vehicle (from them) and i feel im getting janked around.
However my question to you is, What could cause the trans to lose 1st and 4th, and also cause none of my dash lights to work?
A short to ground?
A PCM failure?
Corroded harness?
Any ideas guys? Im not to familar with chevy systems, but i am a professional muscle car rebuilder, and cummins diesel mechanic.
