What's Up? I'm new to the forum (And a 1st time Tahoe buyer) and love the site and I hope I'm asking this in the right section.

My question is if I were to purchase this conversion kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

could I turn around and purchase/install these lights:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLAC...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2561220e20

and get them to work with my Tahoe. I have a 2003 Base/LS 4wd. (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3350210/2000-chevrolet-impala/page-5) Thanx in advance for the input.

PS. I know they make halo lights for my body style Tahoe and I'm considering those too but I'm just curious about this as well

Those headlights you're showing are for 07+. I'm sure you could get them to fit that front end kit but it won't be plug & play at all...

x2 what Cameron just said. I'm going to guess you'd have to do quite a bit of fabbing to make those two mods work together....

I think thats a different look.

I dont think we have to all get the same mods. How many burbans/hoe's you see with the exact same mods.

Im curious about that conversion kit.

Not sure I would even bother with fabbing the 07 lights. A set of HID's on this conversion kits might look real nice. Also depends on the color of the truck.

Unless your set on those headlights with the led strip and depending on how the headlight lens included in the conversion is held on, you could always open it up and paint some of the silver/ chrome sections black to get a similar look to the 07+ lights you posted. And if your really feeling ambitious, there are many sites that sell the imitation Audi led headlight strips that you could slap in there and tie into your lights.

yeh i too contemplated this front end for a minute then decided that no matter what you do, it just doesnt look like it belongs. Kinda makes it look like some kind of older Ford crossbreed or something... and thats definitely the last thing i want to do.

@Lowell nope I'm still debating on what route I wanna take. I'm graduating in December so I don't have money to spend only to be disappointed so hopefully next yer I can afford to play with some different styles

@Ubillin I actually saw some nbd silverados with similar kits on em a few months back and they Actually looked pretty good. I think it's all a matter of how creative u r and how much effort u put which is also why I wanted to add the halos in with the kit #shrug

Well thats kinda the lines i was thinking along, taking those heads apart and putting my own LED rings in which would be far brighter and much larger than trying to use the OEM sized replacement lights. For that reason alone i would seriously think about the conversion for myself... but still I am hesitant til I get a better idea how it really looks in person.
