On a road trip last weekend, one of my denali headlights would come on, then flicker and go out, then randomly come back on. I'm running standard halogens in that car right now. I pulled the bulb out and noticed that the plug for the light (on the wire harness) was melted where the metal prongs from the light go in. So I replaced the weird 6 inch pig-tail wire harness on both sides and fresh bulbs in both sides.

I'm pretty sure that I have replaced the headlights in this vehicle at least one other time, but apparently I was oblivious to the fact that it runs 9005 bulbs in the lows and the highs. is this right??? This kind of threw me for a loop because my 02' hoe runs 9006 lows and 9005 highs.

Crazy.. my projector aftermarket lights in my tahoe take 9005 for both high and lows too. Tripped me out at first.
