    Body Lift Pending Need Help

You can also heat up the area around the bolt that your trying to get out. Heating will cause the metal to expand. Try not to heat the bolt directly or it will expand.

What electric fans work best for these trucks?

It clearly says on the tags of each wire where they go. For Example: that green wire says A/C Tap. That means you connected that wire to the Air Compressor

    New Exhaust

If you plan on keeping the 350 in the truck, then the 2.25-2.5 inch pipe will be just fine. I'm planning around a 383 swap in the future, so i went bigger. Mine being 3 inch before the muffler and 3.5 after the muffler. I dont have a true dual setup. But i have the flowmaster 50 series delta...

New 99 Tahoe owner--what mods first for easy power/mpg?

They are the pacesetter ceramic coated. I cant remember the part number. I do my research off of jegs or summit then get my parts from amazon. If I remember correctly they were 300$. They fit great. The only problem we had was that the passenger side would barely tap against the firewall where...

New 99 Tahoe owner--what mods first for easy power/mpg?

The force exhaust that sunlitcomet commented about has the 50 series muffler. The 70 series is the 'quiet' muffler from flowmaster. Goes like this: 40 series=loud, 50= moderate, 70 series- mild. I have personally have the 50 series delta flow. Mine is much louder than it is supposed to be, as i...

Thanks guys. I wasnt planning on modding the 383 to the max. This is the plan in my head, 4-6 inch lift, 33 or 35 inch tires depending on said lift, gears depending on tires, then the 383. It wont be modded to the max. Was thinking about making a 383 based on the GM ht383e that is on the web...

Hey guys. Looking at new transmissions and cant seem to find a 'good' seller on the internet. I've looked at monster and FLT. The plan is for a 383 to go in later and i am going to keep the 4l60. I was thinking the heavy duty trans that monster offers with a convertor. What all do you guys...

Stay Away From The 2-3" Rough Country Suspension Lift

Every kit should absolutely be the new corrected kit. It's not right for a business to put out somethign that is wrong if they have the corrected kit. I've talked to Rough Country a few times on the phone and to me their customer support is excellent. I wouldnt worry about the bad kit anymore...

    Ball Joints

Get MOOG! They are the best!! Just replace everything at once. Look up your part numbers for everything on a autoparts store then buy from amazon. I got everything much cheaper. I wouldnt change the control arms... Just change the bushings.

I have a 2000 limited Tahoe, lift questions

If you want a goof ride then get the Rough country 4 inch lift. If you want to do it cheap but suffer with the ride just crank the torsion bars and put a block in the back. I vote you go with the 4 inch lift from rough country. They have a vendor on the forum.
