    Holley Sniper over-revving

Installed a Blueprint 365 engine with a Holly Sniper EFI approx. 10K miles ago so it should be out of the "learning" mode. About a month ago it started revving infrequently instead of returning to normal idle - normal idle being 750-850 rpm. Come to a stop sign and it could be over-revving to...

    Dome/Courtesy Lights

The dome lights in my '94 Yukon worked at one time but quit some time ago - I think they are linked by a common ground wire but I can't find where the wire runs to see if there is a break. The under dash courtesy lights work fine. Any help would be appreciated.

New life in the '94 Yukon

Well, it's finally finished - replaced the original drivetrain (5.3 Tbi and tranny) with a new crate motor from Blue Print Engines and a 700 R4 tranny from Phoenix Transmissions. It's rated at 365 HP but dyno-ed at 376 and is equipped with a Holley Sniper EFI. I've got about 300 break-in miles...

    1994 Yukon Door detent lever

Anyone have a name for the spring-loaded notched arm that holds the driver door open - I'm trying to find a replacement and can't find one - if one exists. Thanks.

    Engine/tranny swap

Sorry to say my really good running 5.7L Tbi and 4L60-E needs more help than is available to make it a performance engine capable of towing a trailer with a car loaded. So I'm in the process of getting a Blueprint 365 Hp engine with Holley Sniper EFI and a beefy 700R4 to handle the 4X4...

    1994 Yukon brake switch

Trying to install a brake controller but I can't find the brake switch, at least not the typical switch I'm used to seeing. I did find a GM connector that has 6 - 7 wires and I'm wondering if it is keyed to the brake somehow? Any help locating the switch is appreciated.

Keyless entry 1994 GMC Yukon 4x4

I need to get a keyless entry system for my ride - I've checked the RPO and do not have the AUO code so it did not come with remote door locks (according to info found on this forum). I do have the inside door switches that operate both doors so it would seem straight forward enough to find a...

    New Leather

Just got the '94 Yukon back from upholstery where we replaced the 60/40 front seats with correct bucket seats and covered everything that was cloth in leather (door panels, rear trim panels, buckets and rear seat) and put in new carpet with some sound/heat protection. I still need to finish my...

    Classified Rules

Almost finished with the upgrade to bucket seats and leather interior in my recently purchased 1994 GMC Yukon 4x4 2 dr. and was going to post my 60/40 cloth seats for sale in the classifieds. I read the rules for posting classifieds and I need about 60 more posts before I can sell the seats?

    Heater Blower fan cage

I received my new blower motor and fan from Summit for my OBS GMT 430 (94 Yukon) and proceeded with the replacement as per youtube video on a 92 vintage vehicle. Removed glove box, PCM, PCM tray, blower motor cover and old blower motor. It wasn't easy but the video was a big help and finally...

    Acronyms . . .

As a newbie Yukon owner I'm wondering if there is definition of terms somewhere on this site to help me understand the history of these vehicles? I see references to OBS, NBS, NNBS, etc. (there are probably others) and I could use some help understanding the references. Appreciate your patience.

    Another leak question . . .

My 1994 Yukon SLE 4x4 (just purchased) went through the car wash to check for leaks - seemed to be tight around windows, doors, etc. so I was a happy camper - until I took the floor mat out to clean and found the carpet wet on the passenger side. Pulled everything out and noticed the carpet...

    New member, same story

Okay, if you read my intro you will find I just purchased a '94 Yukon and the first thing I tried to fix was the poor headlights (a month ago) so I bought some HID/Xenon upgrades from Headlight Experts (btw, I don't recommend their customer support). Had to remove the grill to install the...

    Newbie Yukon Owner

Hi Folks, just a few lines to introduce myself on the forum, but I'm sure you will remember me after I begin asking all the questions and asking for help. Just purchased a 1994 GMC Yukon 4x4 SLE 2 dr. with 101K miles that is in excellent shape for its' age. I've been doing some upgrades to...
