    I was looking around and found high mileage 254,000 one looks like someone took care of it for its age. Rear End 3:42 G80 and HD towing .. How can it be HD towing with 3:42 gears. Does someone have one of these to give me Ideas if there more miles left in it at 254,000 . Need advise ..

    Mines a 5.3 but you better check all your exhaust manifold bolts before you get new motor . Mines missing 3 bolts on drivers side and sounds just like yours till it's warm . Mine drives and runs great otherwise at 205,000 miles . 2006 here.

    Wired the 2 orange wires together . With a water proof solderless connection. **** works perfect. I'm going to put a new fan in just to be on the safe side. As one in there is original..and might draw extra amps might be why it burned the harness connector..

    Might want to check if it has remote start. Sit in passenger side hit lock button 3 times see if it starts up. Any 4 door lock button can stop and start it . Mine has that . It's a dealer installed remote start is what I was told . At first I thought it was possessed. lol.

    9.5 volt at rear harness by fan . Could this be a grounding problem?

    Is this a modular control problem or is it a burnt wire somewhere in the harness. Is there any way to know . Checks full battery power at fuse 12.02 but only 11.08 at rear hot fan wire. And if plug everything in . Goes down to 3 volts before resister and 2.8 volts after resister at fan.
