On star / my Chev 2017 Tahoe

Was there any issues with the radio/ screen OnStar and my Chev app log in , has the premium sound on the 2017 Tahoe ? If it's from Canada does it matter if it was to be used in USA . Any info be great.

They did what Onstar called a reset. But I still can't log in to mylink app in the Tahoe . But the app on cellphones working.
Same here on my 2019 from Canada. Onstar said take it into the dealer but I think I found on my own that I had to go to setup then restore factory settings, then delete all user info, then delete something else. When i then tried to sign into my Chevy in the car I got a new screen BUT onstar was not available. I think because I was between the camper and the house and power was out in the neighborhood from a wind storm.
Tomorrow I’ll try to log in and let you know if I was successful.

When i then tried to sign into my Chevy in the car I got a new screen BUT onstar was not available. Thanks ..Yes let me know please. I was wondering if it was like stuck between any updates they sent out and lost wifi or something..

Well no luck so far. They had me go to the factory reset screen and reset all options (that did get the previous owners Kelly Clarkson and other twenty something stuff out of there), then go to software screen and got a confirmation that my software was up to date. THEN they sent several resets. THEN they discovered that the mobile connection number needed to be reset which they tried to do several time remotely but did not get a confirmation that it was reset. SO they bumped me up to the senior technical advisor. Waiting for him to contact me.
Really, the only thing not working is the in car MyChevrolet and in car OnStar App. I can call Onstar from the car, and I can log in on my phone and computer. But they gave me three free premium months to try it in car with all features so I want to try it. ;)
I will let you know when I find out more.

I'm having exact same problem and talked to senior technicians too. Keep me posted . I have mine hooked up to the internet in the house hopefully it'll update that's all I know.

I'm thinking they need a manual update or something. I might know more tomorrow..

Also I should add I called OnStar OnStar gave me never a month of data program reset everything did the deal we reset open the door shut the door wait for a minute. None of that worked. Now I have a new senior guy going to call new service number code lol

I'm still working on it . Still can't sign in to my link/my chev or apps icon to update . ( I have a feeling softwares never been updated all way back to tahoes build date )

I’ve been busy and dropped it for a while. I’ll call onstar with my case number soon and see if they are on it or not.

just reload it with sps or have the dealer do it.
you can do it with a windows 10 pc/laptop and a MDI, then it's $40 for 2 years of unlimited module programming

Local GM dealer said $129 for update . I'm like at level 3 OnStar tech support with a service code deal. Still can't sign in to apps or mylink yet .

a clone mdi is about $200 but you will always have it, one time cost that pays you back later

So this one still not working . Can't login ..dealer it was bought from said it's as updated as much as they can at dealer.. So if you just leave it it just never update any software right . So if rig running all on original 2017 software. Cuz there's no way it could have ever updated.

have you made a account on the gm website? can you log in there and see your vehicle associated with your account, should look similar to mine
